Air Charge Temperature Sensor
Does anyone know what the result would be if one of these were inoperative on a 302? Specifically, the engine is an '85 302 EFI. Just took the lower intake manifold down today for a cleaning and refit as a part of my engine rebuild. The air charge sensor that came out of the intake runner was absolute toast. Comparing it to the new one, I can't believe that it could have been communicating anything at all to the EEC. Before I pulled the engine, though, I didn't really have any error codes or other telltale signs that it was bad. Just curious.....
