I bought a super duty 250 06 lariat in a action but the car was stolen from the owner i am serching the center console in tan color i saw it at fordparts but the total amount of it is like $600 its a lot of money and in ebay doesnt apear one does anyone know where i can find it???

 

Go on ebay and buy an 08 console to put in it. Lots of guys on here have done that and love it.

 

i have an 2004 f 250 superduty purchased the 2008 console. and sold it as soon as i saw it in the truck, way to big colors dont match didnt no u cant have arm rests ,because that is the arm rest i juss didnt like it to abnoxisouly big( cant spell sorry) i also made about 100 bucks more sellin it.

 

Yes i read about it that the console of the new 08 is bigger and with diferent color..
The other tought i have is to buy the grey one and prove the duplicolor spray but i do not know if this spray works and get the exact color????

josegiron83, I'm replacing my tan console in my 2005 with the 2008 model (even though the colour is slightly off it is easy to paint it to match my interior colour - I actually like the larger size and the bigger place to lean my long arms on - also have no problem removing my armrests as I love my captain's chairs but find the armrests uncomfortable)

Anyway, I will have a great condition tan centre console out of my 2005 for sale. The only thing I would be concerned about is cost of shipping to your location. Send me a PM if you are interested and we can try and negotiate something.

 

My interior is tan and the console is the med stone, not to noticeable but I have considered either painting it, tan to match, all black for a custom look or a apolstery guy told me he could cover the sides and back with the factory seat material. Not sure which way I will go yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Im gonna be curious to see how youre gonna handle removing the armrest stops. The armrests are easy, the stops not so much.

But do you have the console that only is the arm rest and cup holder or do you have the seat center console becouse the problem with this one is the arm rest!!!!

 

Josegiron83, a picture of your truck and what you are missing would help us help you with what you need. I have the factory 2005 centre console (my armrests are attached to my seats) and the factory centre console is in between the seats (it is lower than the armrests and narrow enough that when I open the top it opens between the armrests. This is the same centre console found in all 2005 to 2007 Super Duty trucks with standard captain's chairs. Probably is the same as previous '05 but I am not sure.

Do you mean you have the middle jump seat and are missing the back part for it that flips down or the whole jump seat? Because that is not a centre console. If you have captain's chairs with armrests, then the one I have is the OEM replacement for the centre console. If you are missing the centre jump seat and your seats do not have armrests, you need either the jump seat or the '08 centre console which replaces your need for your armrests on the captain's chairs and they must be removed. The '08 console I bought is wider than the factory '05 to '07 console and higher.

subysouth, I will have to remove my armrests on my captain's chairs in order to install the new '08 console I bought. I have Fia OE seat covers on my truck, so they will cover the hole left by removing the armrests. As for the metal stops on the side of the seats - those will be removed by "side grinder" or "die grinder" if I can't figure out another way to remove them (since I will never be removing the '08 console once installed I have no future need for them). Or, if I find they are not too noticeable when covered by the seat covers, I will probably just put a piece of thin foam over them so it won't rip the seat cover and leave the metal stops in place. I'll let you know what I decide to do.

I was asking about if i put the 08 center console how i remove the arm rest and how i cover the holes that i goig to left becouse yes i like the original leather seat but if you (WILDWILDWEST) have the original center console in tan color i would love it to buy you the center console i cannot send you a PM becouse i am a knew user and the system doesnt leave me!!!!!
