[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-Nov-02 AT 08:27 PM (EST)]If you've seen my thread entitled "PROBLEMS" you'll know I might be in the market for either having my heads reworked or buying some new heads. I've found a set off of a `92 Mustang 5.0 HO (SEFI I believe), and am pretty sure they'd fit, but would like technical experience to chime in here if I'm wrong. I know the ports come bigger on the Mustangs, what performance effects would i expect? Thx.

Also, will my stock cam work with these heads?

Well there is good news and bad news. The good news is those heads should bolt up fine and run perfect on your truck the bad news is the performance will most likely be identical to your old heads. Why you ask? because those are the exact same type of heads..the E7TE. Mustangs and f-150s have shared them since 87 when the stang had to cover up its poor head choice from 1986. Since you already have the heads off you could port n polish them and install bigger valves, but i wouldnt pay a shop to do this because it'll probably rival a pair of aftermarket heads in price without the overall performance. If your in the market for heads you might want to look at World Products everyone in this forum seems to love them and everyone in this forum usually knows what they are talking about. You can also look towards gt40s or gt40ps as a slightly lower budget alternative.
