So how much energy does it take to power the radio wave generator? Is it more than they are getting out of the water?
Until the full cycle energy balance is done on this, I won't get too excited.
Of course once they do build a microwave generator that is super efficent that can
make the returns worth it and only takes say 9 volts to operate. One day it will get
like a 36 volt surge!! and it will immediately vaporize all the water and split it and then
of course there goes the neighborhood as all the fuel(water) is ignited in all the oceans
and oppsey, DID I DO THAT?????(in high pitch) We are the new sun in the galaxy!!
all that is doing is making hydrogen burnable. It takes WAY too much electricity to split the hydrogen and oxygen at the current technology. you couldnt do it onboard, its jut not possible. It would need to be done at a plant and then we are back to a hydrogen fuel cell.
