just wondering if any of u guys have any ideas on intake for a 7.3 TD i see alot of them made for the 6.9 but not the 7.3's. I just wanna hear some of ur guys homemade tricks!! What i did was cut my filter inside the box so the rubber ege is still there so it will seal the box but then ran 4 in flexi pipe to a cone filter up by the radiator it works for now but i no there has to be a better idea rolling around somewhere!

I have some available from AFE, K & N, Bully Dog, S & B, and Tru-Flow for your 94 7.3. Attached page below.
It took a few hours to fabricate but it's worth it, and I'm pleased as punch that I was able to fit a 4" pipe in there (I originally thought it was gonna be near impossible).
The biggest problem is clearing the injector line that's directly in front of the turbo inlet.
At some point I may build a box around the filter, but for now I'm leaving it as it is.
RealTruckMan, he doesn't have a powerstroke and that's what all those intakes are for.

Its been that kind of day. My bad. You are correct.
yep that is very true dave!!!! i wish those companies would make a cold air for our trucks but wish in one hand and crap in the other and see what fills up first right o well i think i'm gonna try ghunts idea!!
Ram air to my turbo.
Much cooler air, drops EGT's a bit.
The only downside, driving in the snow means the intake must be unhooked from the ATS style filter box.
If not, the filter gets covered with snow till it chokes the engine out.
Rain does not bother it at all.
