I guess what i'm asking is if i turn the distributor will the timng advance or am i making some other kind of adjustment soory i am not use to fuel injected motors
Yes, moving the distributor does alter the timing. If you set the timing by ear, just loosen the distributor clamp and proceed as you would with anything else. If you are going to set the timing using a timing light, there's a jumper plug called the SPOUT connector that you will have to pull to temporarily disable the computer advance. You can find the SPOUT connector on your 92 near the driver side hood hinge, possibly taped to the wiring harness.
