We lost a good actor

Actor Richard Widmark died at the age of 93.

I enjoyed his rolls he played, especially in the early westerns.

he was one of the greats. what ever it is an actor needs to play a "tough guy" Richard Widmark had it in spades. and he kicked but with class.

It seems he was one of those actors that just didn't do enough movies for me. I really enjoyed him. I particularly liked "The Bedford Incident" along with Sidney Poitier

But I really liked his westerns and war movies.

I liked him in "Kiss of Death" and "Halls of Montezuma". "The Bedford Incident" was pretty good too. He was a great actor and probably my second favorite next to William Holden.

Same here!

Shows how well I pay attention. . . I thought Mr. Widmark died a bunch of years ago.
