I have heard the you unscrew the injector lines a little at the injectors an fill up the fuel filter then crank the mptpr an get all the air out is there anything eles I should do ?
Also my old 7.3 had a broken rocker arm on #2 piston intake I was at the Grand Canyon when it started to run bad I had no way an did not know at the time that was what was wrong, I had to drive it from there back to utah an I trashed the #2 piston an rings . Has anyong evre had there Rocker arm brake . Rick
Then loosen the injector lines, several of them.
If you have a helper at this stage, it is good.
Have them crank the engine while you watch the injectors.
Also when cranking the engine, 20 seconds cranking, 2 minutes starter cool down time before cranking again.
Also throttle pedal on the floor while cranking.
Let off as soon as it starts.
When you see fuel leaking out at the injection line, stop cranking and tighten the line nut.
Never seen a 7.3 rocker break.
Repeat the last step until all lines are tight, the engine should be running by then.
