Best sound?
hey all im sure this has been brought up before, however i have a 1994 explorer, 4.0 of course and i am gonig to be putting some pipes on, which sounds the best? looking for a nice deep exhaust note! will also be installing duals.

Ok, the answer to what sounds best is a matter of personal preference. You mentioned you want a deep note, but do you want it loud, moderate or quiet?
You cannot do true duals, so I assume that you want a dual outlet muffler.

yes i would be using a single in dual out style muffler, i want a moderate amount of noise, and as close to a smal block kind of sound as possible ( in comming years i will drop in a 5.0) however untill that point i need some nice pipes. think,.. classy sounding, not obnoxious. i was thinking flowmaster, but now lean twards a magnaflow, i have never had a v6, always a 5.0 or a powerstroke. so this is a bit new.

Go with the Flowmaster Series 50, not the 40. Deep sound, a little ouder than stock. Sounds great on a 3.0 or 4.0L.
