Driver side panel removal
The panel is held on by those cheap plastic clips that always break
they make a special tool to remove them but a long flathead works
just as well. There are three dimples that you have to drill out to get
the motor out since they block the bolts that hold the motor to the
regulator. You will need a phillips head driver, along flat head screwdriver
a drill, A half inch drill bit and a set of sockets to get the motor out.
Usually you only need the three little pins that go inside the gear and
you can save alot of money by making your own pegs out of either a
wood dowel with rubber around them or if you can find nylon round stock
that would work the best. Don't go and buy the whole motor until you
get the old one out since they sell the gear and pegs seperately for like
$10.00 compared to whatever a whole motor goes for.
