Plug wires -460

Hi
can some one explain to me the improvements that I would get if I installed the 9 mm MSD wires or the 9.5 Ford racing wires?? Also the sticker in the engine compartment says 42 to 46 for the gap on factory plugs is there a better plug or gap setting??

Thanks
Dave

42 to 46 is ok for the plug gap. You won't see any difference in the wires if they both have low ohms resistance.

if you are asking if changing the plug wires will make any difference, then yes. i changed the plug wires on my 302 to MSD 8mm wires and noticed quite a difference in power and throttle response. not tire smoking difference, but just a difference. as long as you are changing wires, take advantage of the better wires and get a better coil for more spark.
