lol yeah yeah yeah.. well im allowed one misake.. right? :P
belief its lifted because all the suspension bushings are red, stock are black, it sits higher that a stocker for 33's, and it has rancho shocks all around.
Be prepared to nickel and dime it to death though. Those dodges were prone to pretty much falling apart. Depending on the engine and tranny they might be ok though.
I remember you saying you wanted one to not register and whatnot, so this would be a great one to leave the plates off of and drive er till she dies!
We had a dodge ONCE on the farm for about six months back in the early '80's. What a piece of junk!!!! Top speed pulling our cattle trailer was 50mph with nothing in the trailer!!! Traded it for a '86 F250 with the 6.9L and a four speed, what a difference!!!
Ive heard good and bad about the 6.9's. I dont think they would be much of a puller, but would be better then a gasser for sure.
One farm I worked on had a 88 dodge with a 318 and a manual transmission. We overloaded a livestock trailer all the time, and it pulled it ok for being a gasser.
Our dodge was a extended cab 4X4 with the 360. Our 6.9 was a great truck, we had it 19 years before Dad sold the farm. All it did was work, head out to the field and pull the cattle trailer. Some times with as much as 10-12 800-1000lb feeders on a all steel 16' trailer. All we ever did to that truck was one clutch job and a couple of fuel pumps(the lift pump, not injection pump). Fairly good on fuel to, it would have been better if it had the 5 speed overdrive tranny, but one time in a storm dad could only drive 60-80klm he said he got 30mpg. I wish I could find a good 6.9 4X4 with a 5speed now!! Hard to find a truck like that these days!
it is extremely hard to find one!! i did find one at royal ford one day, it was an '86 regular cab 4x4 523k on it, mechanically it was perfect, but the body left something to be desired. they were asking 3 grand for it...
