is it possible to use used engine oil to make biodiesel

I believe you can make diesel fuel out of used engine oil, however it certainly would not be biodiesel.

Many do this. From what I gathered most filter it down to 5 microns or less, ensure that its dry and mix it with a regular diesel.....

Do a search. There are a bunch of people who do this.......maybe more on oilburners.com
