Ok well my truck wasnt starting and I have worked on it every day for the last week. Im glad to say I finally figured it out. I put new glo plugs in it about a month ago also replaced the glow plug relay. Well it still wouldnt start and you guys gave me advice and it seemed like I had tried everything and I was about to give in. But..... I got the bright idea to jump the relay this evening and it started right up. So I have to get another relay but Im just glad it works. Thanks for the advice and sorry it always takes me so long to report back on whats happening but it just seems like I never have anytime. But also I have one more question. If I take off in my truck really slow I dont notice any slack in my drivtrain or anything but if you punch it a little It has sort of a thump.. I have ruled out the u joint because I recently just replaced it but I dunno if its my differentiall. Or maybe the u bolts. I have a 4 inch lift. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem???
do you use lift blocks on the rear springs? Might be axle wrap......fairly common problem when using blocks. They let the axle rotate under torque and it binds the driveline and gives you that shaking/binding feeling and sound. I recently changed my whole lift setup and went to all spring.....took care of my axle wrap issues
Yeah, It has blocks on it. It kinda feels like a bad u-joint. But I know thats not it. So its probably my blocks then. What is a lift I can go to then??? Im running 325 mickey mtz's. I want to make sure I have plenty of room.
I would go with a 4" spring pack and eliminate that block. I know that Pro Comp sells all of their parts seperately, not sure about other brands. I have 6 1/2" pro comp lift and it rides nice. Firm but not rough......but this is running Bilstein shocks, they make a HUGE difference. I would guess you could get a set of 4" leaf packs for ballpark of $300 shipped.
