trailer tires ???

will need to purchase new tires for a used fifth wheel I'm looking at getting. This will be my first fifth wheel trailer so I'm looking for all the expert info I can find. I was told that this tailer weighs around 9600 lbs empty. 1995 Ductchman Signiture Series 27 feet.

I like to use a 14 ply rating tire they can handle the weight better.

I believe in keeping with ST trailer tires. The brand of choice is Maxxis. Here is a link...go check them out.

IMO...just keep the standard size tire recommended by the Manf. sticker.

I agree with biz4two that you should only use ST tires, whatever brand you can get would be just find, they are especially made for trailers.
