I have a question about a 03 f 350 sd 4x4 5.4 l im looking at maybe to buy..this is the info on the leaf springs • 9,900# GVWR (4700 front/6830 rear), springs (4700 front/6830 rear), axles (5200 front/6830 rear).........i was told theres 4 spring set ups for f 350 sd...would this be the light duty sd or the heavy duty one?...i was told there not all the same springs from a guy at the dealer...but what about the one i posted what one is that?light or heavy duty set up?thanks

It's not that easy. There are (7) different front spring choices for an '03, the lightest being spring code "R" at 3600 lbs and the heaviest being "X" at 6000 lbs. You'll find the spring code on the sticker on the driver's doorjamb.
Take a look at the sticker in the door jamb of the drivers door. Toward the bottom right of the sticker you will see the letters "spr" below those letters there will be two more letters such as XB the first letter X is the front spring code. In this example XB you would have X code or plow prep package front springs. Other front spring codes are U, V, W, and X in ascending order of spring weight capacity.
Also we need to know what cab the truck has, long or short bed, DRW/SRW, and engine.
