Shift Problem on 6.8L/4R100
I posted this on the Ecursion forum as well, however since this one gets more traffic and it is a “generic” 6.8L/4R100 problem I posted it here.
I have a 00 Ex (think F-250) with the 6.8L/4R100 that is having a problem, between 1750 and 2000 rpms it does not want to upshift with OD on, with OD off it upshifts fine. With th OD on it tries to shift, and vibrates, but I have to really give it gas for it to upshift. <O

It did not do this until it had developed a serious miss when driving, I replaced the coil packs and had some other work done, that cleared up the miss but the shift issue remains.<O</O<O
Vehicle is stock except for a factory tech valve body (installed about 10K ago, the fluid and filter was also changed at that time) and a Gibson exhaust.<O</O
No codes or CEL. Has been into a local shop and Ford, the best they (Ford) could come up with was replacing the ECM, that was done at Ford and reflashed with the latest version of programming but the problem remains. <O</O
The plugs, TP sensor and O2s were also replaced.
I was guessing a transmission sensor, shift solenoid or valve body issue? Anyone have ideas, as to at least where I should start?
