AFE stage 2 intake

Im looking at possibly getting a Afe stage 2 pro gaurd 7 intake system for my 07 6.0 diesel. I was wandering what you guy thought. Will it be better than stock or is stock better.

That's the same one I put in my truck. If I were to do it all over again I would have kept my stock air cleaner assembly. The clamps and hoses are forever loosening up and we all know what happens when your turbo takes on even the smallest particles! I have heard the stock assembly works well all the way up to 500 horsepower so you need to decide just how much power you want.

I would spend the money on the exhaust first if it hasn't been done yet.

Stick with the stock intake it filters very well and also flows pretty well also.
