Best tuner/programer?

I have a 2005 F350 with a 6.0 I want to buy a programmer. I don't tow that much and I'm looking for some more giddy-up out of it. What are your thoughts? Every OEM site I look at have just about the same data. I was leaning towards the bully dog. Any input would be helpful thanks.

There is no such thing as best, each has their own special feature/ reason for you to buy theirs and not their competitor's. I am a fan of the Superchips/MSD/Edge group and I love my Sniper Special Forces. I think Banks and Bully Dog are more promotional, but I have very little experience them other than talking to their Reps.

So, if you want a screen with display and on the fly adjustment, I'd choose Edge. For a super powerful, end user friendly and extremely flexable solution I'd choose Sniper. And for the easy choice, I'd go with a Superchip.

I had bullydog first, on the fly is cool but it wears off soon and you'll pretty much keep it on one setting most of the time(doesn't matter what setting as that varies depending on the personality of the driver). Most of the 6.0 guys would go with custom tunes by either Matt at Spartan Diesel(the one I use) or Eric at Innovative. Either one will be safer and in general better then your off the shelf tuners that you can get. Matt is working on his own tuner right now that will inable him to tune more then what is previously allowed with what he has now(and to my knowledge I don't think Sniper allows for FICM tuning, but I only know what they have based on website info; ReAX any input on this?). I am a beta tester for Matt's stuff right now(just let him know who told you and he'll know exactly what your talking about as some stuff he doesn't want me to mention yet), I think it's a month out for mass production for the 6.0 stuff.
