I just bought a 1997 F-250 4x4 5.4L longbed short cab lightduty about three weeks ago. I noticed during a rain storm that the top of my sliding glass window behind the passenger seat was leaking. Others have told me thats a common problem. Is that true and is it worth taking to a dealer to fix or is there something I can do to fix it. Thanks for any help.

Yes you can do it yourself and it's a lot cheaper than going to the dealer. It is a common problem with the LD's as well as the half tons with the sliding rear window.
I posted how I did it a few months back. So you can go back through the posting to find it. If that doesn't work, email me and I'll tell you what is involved.
