It's almost offical not quite but almost mine..... $500 for the pair
Both are complete except the mercury is missing few odds and ends (chrome etc 3 pieces missing) The Ford is missing the front hubs.
And sorry but should say also bought this Buick all complete straight 8 motor. for 200 bucks how could I refuse???
Namely brakes and carberation. The carb needs a kit but I can't spare it not running since it is my transportation. And as for the brakes don't ask, I just can't figure the fridgin problem then the P.O broke parts in the drums when he took them apart they are a absoulete mess.
Well once I get the IH back on the road (2-3weeks I'm guessing) then I will be able to spare it enough for a carb job. Then I'll bring it into some shop give them a blank check and tell them to get it legal, get all 4 brakes working properly, Ebrake setup right, fix whatever prob with them too. lol
I know Ford nevere stuck with the same carb on the 300 for long. For some reason Ford always used odd ***** on the 300. May hook up but setting up throttle etc. may be a pain plus manual choke. The carb isn't too urgent should last me another 3 weeks but thanks.
