Yes, you have to worry about shavings. But not as much as you think. When you feel the drill start to break through, slow down. That way you can vacuum them out easily.

Unless you are intercooled, tap into the map line.

well i got the pyro installed it got dark on me about half way through so i decided to quit... but i got them all hooked up other then the line to the map line and then the wire going down to the sending unit for the tranny temp guage... but thanx guys i would have never attempted it without you all... and the hottest i could get my truck empty on a hill at wot was 1200 but when i grabbed 5th it went down alot... that was on tow of my edge programmer i will get other results tomarr... with boost and all.. and i was about out of fuel and did not feel like getting any tonight... lol i love the guages they sweep when i turn the key on and everything... well all exept the boost but i do not think it is supposed to... and thanx cody i put it where you put yours... on the little flat spot on the manifold on the drivers side...
