Finally got a break!
Scored some front fenders for the '48 for very cheap...the driver's side isn't much to speak of, but the passenger side one is pretty nice. So now that the weather seems to be breaking, I've got a tailgate, running boards, and front and rear fenders just about ready to go on. It looks like taking a summer drive in the green monster is a real possibility now. I'm totaly psyched
