351w year model
The casting number on the block of my 351w is D4AE-6015-AA-10

Above that is TF8.

Could someone tell me what year it is?

It's a 74-up block. You need the date code to tell you exactly what year the block was cast. This is a number/letter/number(s) code next to the casting numbers.

That was all of the numbers I could find on the block near the starter. The TF8 was above the casting number.

im seeing that it is a 71'-74 block.

I was looking on the web and saw somewhere that the D stood for '70's and the 4 meant '74.

E3AE 6015 BA1 Cylinder block originally designed for full size car 1983 model year.

3L30 Cast on November 30th, 1983, appropriate for 1984 model year.
