Explorers:Who's got experience?

Explorers:Who's got experience?
The wife and I were looking at Explorers today and they seem like a good truck. Does anyone here have any good or bad points about them? What should I be looking at as far as problem areas and such? Thanks for any input.

WE looked at an 04 today. It was an EB. Very nice truck for sure. We are also looking at some 06's that are a decent price as well. Biggest problem right now is finding a buyer for our car.

Go for the current Explorer generation. 06 to present. I prefer this current body design of all Explorers,
The V6 is okay as far as MPG and seat of the pants UMPH, but the V8 will get the Explorer up to speed more efficiently.
I think the ride is smoother and quieter in the new versions, and if the truck you are looking at -06- has low miles, it may have the factory warranty.
Everything seems to be good on our Explorer, fun to drive and worth it to me.
