Hey i have a 289 in my 55 f-100 that shakes likes crazy, only when its cold. As soon as it warms up to 165 degrees it stops and runs smooth, can some one tell me what is causing this?

 

Could be a lot of things, but since it only happens when it's cold, the first thing I'd check is the choke. Could be stuck too far open which will cause it to run too lean until it warms, causing it to miss badly. Check that first.
