Nice Cabover C600 rollback

This is a great looking '53, and a flathead too.

Might be worth it. How many trucks are around like that? Wives are everywhere.

I wonder how well that little flathead can provide power to move it down the road with a full load?

I'd have to get that dirty on a regular basis.

Merten. Back in 53 that Truck and it's little Flathead were the class of the field. They weren't fast, at least by todays standard, but they hauled the freight.
With something like that today, The slogan should be something like "If you want it down now call someone else. If you want it done professionally call me. I have to work slow."

Would a C600 be a 337 flatty? Don't remember if those continued into '53. Beautiful truck although the aluminum bed isn't really "period correct".

Ford 337 CID flathead engine used in 1949-51 Lincoln cars and 1948-51 F-7 and F-8s It was gone by '53 and replaced by the 317 Y block.
