Traded off my 1988 F150 today for a 1994 Ranger. Had the old red truck for 3 1/2 years... one of the best trucks I've ever owned. Sort of hated to see it go, but it was time to rethink what I needed it for. I was using it for my daily driver... sort of a car with a big open trunk, really. It served me well, did all I asked of it and more, and I hope that the next owner will have the same luck as I did with it.
As for the Ranger... I think it will work out well as the F150's replacement as a daily driver. Maybe not be able to hold a ton of feed in the bed, or be able to tow a wagonload of hay, but then again, not what I bought it for. It'll get good mileage, be comfortable, and no doubt dependable. I think I made a good choice.
Hi FarmForward, welcome and it`s great to have you on board.
Neat to hear about your 1988 F150, sounds like it was a good one. I`m sure the Ranger will be too.
