Well, I got the truck back last night and all is well. I can actually say that it has been a pleasure working with the dealer this time. They took a little longer to repair it than I would have liked but its fixed and its fixed right. They replaced the EGR valve, The EGR cooler, the cross over pipe behind the turbo...which they said was plugged solid, and they reflashed the computer.
They told me to drive it for a few days and then hook my Banks Six Gun Back up. I asked if I should remove it and they said it didnt matter to them they would galdly do whatever work it needed tuned or not. They disconnected it for diagnosis and left it disconnected.
They asked if I ran it on max levels and I told them that I never run above level 3 and its only if I am towing. Mostly I leave it on level 1 or 2, mainly use it for the guages.
It was a pleasureable experience and the dealer even offered to bring the truck back to me if I wanted.
I drove it about 300 miles this weekend...towing as well, and I am pretty sure that they fixed it. I am so Happy to have it back. I will try to post pics in my gallery again but I am having trouble with it.

Sarge
Sarge, I missed your original thread were you were having problems. What was the problem ?
Just asking since I think I'm having EGR problems.
As soon as I get the receipt mailed to me I will post all the info. When I picked my truck up they waited after hours and they hadnt closed the RO yet so I cannot post the tech comments yet. I will tell you guys this that I took it in for the CEL and a whistle from the turbo. I know that the code in the ECU was a MAP/BARO correlation code. They thought it was due to the Banks system...which I bought the truck with. So they did some work to it and like I said I drove the poopie out of it and then reinstalled the Banks and still all o.k. I should see the reciept today or later this week and I will keep you all up to date on this. But it is fixed and fixed right the first time. No BS about all the add ons either. They said they were not so hard up for work that they were willing to loose warranty $$'s.
This is interesting because i have a 03 f250 CC 4x4 that i just had new heads, head gaskets, egr cooler, map sensor, 3 new injectors, and a new turbo installed. I also have the banks system like yours and now i have a really loud whistle comming from the truck that was not there before all the above work was done. I wonder if the cross over pipe on mine is plugged like you stated on yours? Before the big work (new heads and gaskets and studs) the turbo whistle was there but not to loud. Now it is really loud inside the cab. Everyone says (its normal) loud jet whistle is cool....maybe, but too loud for me and dealer says yep thats what a 2003 should sound like. Never sounded that way before the new stuff! i will ask they check the cross over pipe. Thanks for any feed back!
I have the reciept but there are no part numbers..it was under warranty. The tech, whom I spoke to yesterday, he called to make sure all was good...WOW, says there are tubes under the turbo which get plugged due to soot. He replaced the tubes...I believe he called them cat tubes. He also replaced the EGR valve and EGR cooler. He cleaned the turbo and recommended that I due the CAC reroute. He also reflashed the computer with the inductive heating flash. So now all is well.
As we were chatting I asked him what I should do to keep this truck running for a long long time. He said and I quote "change your oil every 5 months or 5,000 miles reguardless of what anyone tells me, also change your fuel filters twice a year or every 10,000 miles. And last but not least buy the Ford Fuel Additive for Centane boost in the summer and the Anti-Gel in the winter." Other than that jus some routene maintence and it will be a great truck.
Now he said to me change my Fuel Filters twice a year because I will be lucky to put 10,000 miles a year on it. He also said it wouldn't be a bad idea to put a coolant system filter on it.
So there I have it, maintain it and it will give me many years of good service. I am pretty **** about my oil and filter changes and I may move them to
every 4 months until Blackstone gives me the ok to do it less often.
Remeber I bought this truck used so I will send off a Oil sample to Blackstone for the first oil change. If all is well I will move back to 5 months. I do all the maintence myself and I have an account with a MC dealer so my parts prices are pretty cheap.
Sorry for the long post but I promised to keep you guys posted.
Yes it was the CCV re route. Sometimes my fingers go a little crazy on the key board here. Also it was the crossover pipes that were plugged..however after reading your post I called him back and he said that he did replace the MAP sensor Vaccum tube, and The Exhaust back pressure tube just to be on the safe side. And he says also because of the amount of crap in my turbo. So as soon as I scrape the $$ togehter I will put in the cooland filter from the diesel site.
