I think it would sound sweet 
There are videos on YouTube you could probably check out. Just search something like Powerstroke diesel and you should find something you'll enjoy. I have neither a cat or muffler, 4" turbo back to the "noisemakers" in the bed and I LOVE the way it sounds. Be prepared for a loss in fuel economy!

I bought the MBRP system and have the Cat delete pipe and the muffler delete pipe with the Kewl Duel exhaust. Sounds great at wide open throttle. But cruising in the highway I can't tell a difference.

i have removed the muffler on my turboed psd diesel as soon as i got them. they make very ittle noise. a liile bark at 2500 rpm when floored.dont expect any real "sound". the people behind you will hear it but you wont. the turbo is a very efective muffler. at idle it makes a sound like air excapingand no noise at all if you step on the throttle . nothing like a gas engine.
