Deleting Muffler

I have no muffler or cat on my truck either, people have asked what has been done, and why it is so much louder. I have not lost any mpg, but I guess that is just because I am a girl driving it, and I really don't beat on it unless there is a Duramax or Cummings next to me getting angry about my stickers in the back window. Oh well, get over it. I had the muffler hanging there for about 3 days, and finally took it off, I like it louder myself, and I get many compliments on how deep and nice it sounds.

I just added a silverline exhaust with no cat or muffler, its a 3.5" from the downpipe to a 4" all the way back and put on a 4" to 6" tip, and it sounds bada$$! its got the sound and air just being pushed out at idle and then a jet taking off to a big block thunder, i did notive alot of difference in response and a little bit in mpg increase, i regret not doing it sooner.

so would you guys recommend deleting both the muffler or cat, or just try one first, i talked to the shop today and he said he would take the muffler off for about $30, didnt ask him about the cat. though

not to sure but I think theres a diff. between the whole taking cat off vs. taking muffler, if thats your question. I know down here its illegal for you to run it with the cat off but also know that it deff. adds more noise to your exhaust too if you delete it. I'm supposed to be getting the muffler deleted this morning so ill let you guys know what the outcome is like!

Deleted the muffler, overall happy with a $40 mod. the tone doesnt sound to different just easing around just noticed more turbo whistle :-), havent got on it yet so we will see, I'll try and get a movie up on it...
