brake noise

after i shut mt truck off i get a sucking sound is it the boster

Take the vacuum hose off the booster and plug it, if the noise is not present when you shut down with the hose off, Eureka you've found it!

What year truck and engine size, is it carb or EFI. If it is carb, could be a bad float or your timing may be a little off. Does it ever sound like it is deiseling?
