Question

code 1538

while driving to work the other day the engine lite came on,code of 1538 pop up. I have a 97 F150 with a 4.2 liter can anybody tell me where to start to look for this problem?

Hopefully a mod will come by and move this to the 97+ section.

Trucks from pre 97 only produce 2 or 3 digit codes, I don't have tables for anything beyond that.
