05 front end converstion!!!
Ok guys iam really looking forward to doing this! I have been getting bored with the way my truck looks and now iam going for the 05 converstion. Iam not promoting this business but Powerstrokeshop.com is really a great place to deal with. I called them direct instead of doing the online purchase. I talked to Ben and he hooked me up with a killer deal. I have the 05 grill allready and i didn't need the headlight panel also since iam just going to cut mine to fit the new headlights. So he deleted thoses 2 items from there converstion and also i wanted the Harley headlights instead of the standerd 05 headlights. He refigured the price of there converstion and it was about $1272.00! Oh yeah as of this week FREE SHIPPING!!
I will post up some pics as i do the converstion, but once i get the pieces iam getting the valance painted then going from there.

congrats, it will really liven up the front end of your truck
i did the 05 lights and I am debating whether or not I want to swap on the 05 bumper and grill. I don't know how it would look with the painted top. Im anxious to see how yours turns out.

Well then i "upgraded" to the 01 headlights and marker lights, foglights, 05 grill and light up side mirrors. I was content with this front end for a few months now its time for the complete 05 front end.

If anyone is looking for a less spendy way I got a cut down 05 grille off ebay, $310 and after market headlights and turn/side marker lights $135.00. Everything was basically bolt on.

Thanks for the comments. Everyday i look at the truck and just really injoy the hell out of it. Really fast.. For work i had to go to training about a 200 miles round trip for 3 days staright so i used a loaner car from work (Brand new 07 Toyota Camry) and it was great and all with the MPG, and the new car smell and feel, but i just straight up missed drive my dually. It seems like people give you more respect when iam driving my dually then they did with the Camry. Anyway i will never get rid of the dually (unless its for a newer model dually) which i will never be able to aford so it looks like i will be holding onto this one for a while.
P.S. Dont forget I will post up the pics once i complete it so just hang in there.

It always is more comforting getting everything from one place though. Can't wait to see the pics when you are done. I really like the color of your truck.

You can definitly do it cheaper... but man it is real nice getting all that show up at the door at once. It is fun opening all the boxes to see what you get... I got mine from them a couple years ago. Great kit!! would do it again!
