Do you have any of the Ford part numbers for the headlights, pigtails, or grille?

How'd you make the brackets and mount the lights to them? When I did my '05 conversion, the bumper didn't have the fog lights and I haven't had time to figure out how to fab up a new bracket for them.

I used strap metal to attach the fog lights.

That new front end looks really sweet on your truck, especially with the painted valance.

Exclamation

Do the 05 headlights attach differently than the 99-04??? How do you adjust the beam? What did you use to attach the headlights???

Did you have to trim your bumper filler (Dust sheild) for the new headlights???

Has anyone trimed the bumper instead of the grille? (My is dented, but dont mind cutting it for the time beaing...)

The 05 headlights using the 2 small screws on the bottom and 2 clips on the top. Beam adjustment is all part of the headlight housing I think there is one adjuster for the up and down and then another for side to side.
No trimming of the bumper or valance is need even if you use the 99+ bumper with 05+ headlights.

Thanks!
What about the bumper filler (aka dust sheild for headlights)???

Sorry, didn't type what I was thinking.. Here's what I ment to type...
...What about triming the 03 bumper and using an 05 grille instead of triming the grille??? (I'm going to upgrade to the 05 soon, just no money now and when I do I dont want to replace the grille again...)

As for the "dust sheild for the headlights iam not sure what your talking about. I dont have anything like that on my truck when I did the converstion.
As for triming the bumper instead of the grill, I dont think that will work. You would have to take alot of materal off to even fit a uncut 05+ grill with a 03 bumper. I would image you would have to hack up the bumper and it would look like a$$. Just wait and do it right the first time.

I still cant belive what guys are spending for this conversion. I can get all the parts for a little over 500 and people still pay well over a grand.

No, those are aftermarket, but all of the problems that people talk about with aftermarket sheet metal (fenders, hoods, etc.) arent an issue with solid parts like bumpers and grilles, and sometimes its an issue with plastic parts, but on the f250 parts its not an issue.

Well that's the difference. And yes they can be a problem. I work at a body shop and sometimes those parts are not made right either. They can be made to fit with some work to them, but they do not fit exactly like a OEM part will every time.

You can't compare factory ford parts to aftermarket. Even if its half the cost iam still putting factory ford parts on my superduty.
