Weatherproofing COP's ????
Just wondering if anyone might have any weatherproofing tips for the COP ignition. I am getting a little tired of the annoying miss that shows up every time it rains.....or snows....or is foggy.....or if someone spits in the next county!!
OK that last one might be a stretch, but if there's moisture in the air then the truck is dropping cylinders. Any advice would be really appreciated!

Replace all the COP boots and use some di-electric tune-up grease on each end of the COP boots. The grease will help seal them against the elements and eliminate misfires. If the plugs have more than 30k miles on them replace the plugs while your there.
