So where's the hot shows this year?

What is the must hit events?

 

Interesting question. To provide an answer your interests are probably important. If you're looking for pure blue stock vintage Ford trucks, it is probably not a good idea to send you to Pebble Beach for the Councours d'Elegance.

What kind of show are you looking for? My opinion is that all of these are basically a good opportunity to meet up with friends, eat, drink, and lie a little bit. Not neccessarily in that order.

 

march 29-30 is the all american show in pleasanton. thats the only one i know of, off the top of my balding head.

 

I googled a few shows here and there.

I'm mostly looking for all years. I have an 03 Superduty that I'm tricking out here and there. I guess a few show and shines and GTG's would be the best fit.

I've just about completed the Stereo portion of the truck and was looking to show her off a bit.

 

Redding has Kool April Nights coming up. April 16-20. I'm going to be there to check it out.

 

I won't be ready for Cool April nights, But I will be there for Hot-O-Rama.

Look for the Black 250 and say hey.

 

It doesn't get much better that Pleasanton Good Guys next week-end.

 

In early May (4th) there is a great show at the Sacramento Raceway. The Ford Club puts it on and they have a three-pronged attack.
1. Ford only car/truck show with trophies and a raffle.
2. A swap meet
3. Drags for those who think they are fast.

Also, food, Hooters Girls and food.

May 4th Sac Drags and Show - That should be fun.

 

The Fordlovers tend to have more car classes than truck classes. There will prob be classes by decade for both stock and modified cars and trucks, but there will also be special classes for various models of Mustangs and full size cars.

The racing portion of the show is predominately done by rodders but there are some real race cars that participate that run 8-second quarter miles.

Between the smell of burning rubber and the site of the Hooters girls walking around, it's a great day. Jag

I'm going Sat. People start packing up early on Sun. cause many of them come from so far away. I hope the breakfast burrito vendor is there.
