Question for NumberDummy
Anyway, I bought two O2 sensors off eBay for my 98 Taurus. They were supposed to be Bosch replacements but instead have the Ford emblem on them with Ford type part numbers and I was wondering if you could help me out. The two dealers said these O2 sensors do not belong to my vehicle but couldn't tell me what they belong to.
Here are the numbers off the parts:
To the right of the Ford emblem is an 8B26
Below that is XL3F-9F472-AA
Below that is 0 258 006 033/034
And off to the right of all of those is 882263 03
And below that is 982/Ao
And thanks.

Without a Calibration Code, the part cannot be looked up to see what it fits, but the part's engineering number can be crossed to the Ford & Motorcraft part numbers.
Maybe someone can figure out from that what the application is.
I don't have parts catalogs this new, so I called GREEN SALES and they were kind enough to do the actual translations of the number.
What you CAN do is call GREEN SALES and give them your cars Calibration Code...then they can tell you whether these sensors are correct...or not.
They are located in Cincinnati Ohio, and are an FTE sponsor.
Call them and ask for assistance: 800-543-4959
Start off with that sensor part number I listed above, and take it from there.
