Your truck doesn't look all that bad - we've seen lots worse. You'll find a lot of help here, all ya gotta do is ask. No doubt someone in this forum has the answer.
Welcome to the forum. We all have a project that needs some to (in my case) alot of TLC.
Stop in often and ask question and provide answers. We need em!
Hey, Everyone. I am Wes. Excited to find such a site as this. I just bought the truck I'd been looking for for years. It's a 1981 Ford F-100, 6cyl, c-6 auto, bought it from the original owner Sunday for a song. It only has 325,000 miles on it. However, the original owner did say that he replaced the original motor at 268,500 and the tranny at about 295.000. I'd say that is true Ford quality.
I was glad to see the info about the forever on wipers. I too replaced the switch to no avail. I will try grounding the wiper motor and see if that fixes the problem.
My next problem is that the gas gauge doesn't work from either tank. And the High beam indicator light doesn't work, even with a brand new bulb. Any ideas??? Thanks Wes Fort Worth,Tx
