i remember some time back someone posted about this but i couldnt find it. its time for me to do the front brake pads and rotate the tires. i remember when i did the rears getting the tire off sucked. what can i put on it so the next time i do it i wont have a hard time getting the tire off.
If you use Never Sieze derate your torque by 40% or you will streatch the bolt! I use Copper Cote because it doesn't change the torque spec's and have found it to last longer when subject to road salt and water and general wear. The streached bolts are why the hiway trucks had wheels coming off of them. They used Never sieze even different oils change torque specs.
Most of you guys are correct, he said he had problems getting the tires off and a little (key here is a little so you you don't spray the rotor) never-sieze on the hub would help it release. He did not say he was having problems with the lugs. It's amazing how tight those wheels can get when a little rust forms on the rotor/hub assembly.
BillyBob69, if your tires don't rotate do they not get to get off?

Ummmm Hmmmmm Ummmmm HONEY!!!!! They are pickin on me!!!!!
Rotating is just one way to get them off!
And what I mean.....After loosening the lug nuts, I moved the truck back a few ft and hit the brakes quick..then the same forward...it helped to loosen them hehe
Now that's not fighting fair. Notice how all the comments stopped when you posted this. We're all scared to say anything now.
