how hesitant is the gas peddle with the new 3valvers? i dont care for electronic throttles because of the delay and i notice it especially with my old mans 06 psd. just looking for opinions. thanks
It is noticeable but after getting used to it it's not that bad. Usually when I need to speed up fast I hit the gas hard enough to downshift anyways. From a dead stop I can't really feel a lag, but at part throttle you will notice it some.

On our 05 V10 the Drive by Wire delay was not as bad as both our F150's. However on the V10; tip in and mid throttle has been improved over stock no doubt. But again it does seem worse in F150's maybe stock calibrations are catering to soccer moms too much. just joking..
ive been looking into the newer v-10 lately i think i can live with the electronic throttle but im sure i would miss the instant response of my 04 mechanical throttle. tuning sounds like a good idea for that reason
I've heard a lot of complaints about the drive by wire throttle. But I've also heard that a tuner fixes that so whenever I get one, a tuner will be ordered the same day.
Here's a link to a fix that seems to really help. I never actually looked that closely at my truck gas pedal, but I'm sure it is the same as the in my Mustang. This worked well for me on my Mustang. It's worth the read.
And, a knowledagable tuner can make some adjustments to also help tthe throttle to feel more cable like, but there is always going to be just a touch of "not quite the same" feel as if it was a cable.
