Need help on engine ID.

Hi everyone, I just bought a 73 F150 to tow my RX-7s with. The engine has been swapped for a later model one. The guy I got it from (who didn't seem too bright) told me it was a "351 Police Interceptor". My question is do those even exist? And how can I tell? I'm sorry if this is and old question, but I'd really like to know what is in my truck. TIA.

I forgot to add, it has a serpentine belt setup on it.

With out any more info I'll guess that it's a 351 windsor from an old police car. Sounds like a nice set-up though.
