400 Pistons

... I really don't want to go stock.
I'm looking into getting 351C pistons Machined to fit, but is this a good alternative, and what has to be done to make them work???
Does anyone have any Ideas???

Skud, I just bought Ohio 1282P 9:1 flat top pistons from an Ohio distributor this week. Call Ohio at 800.428.4591 and ask for the nearest retailer. I was given the local distributor, who then told me the nearest retailer that ordered my pistons. I picked them up the next day. $130.32 for the set of pistons; $50.92 for the set of moly rings. Not bad. You can also go with the Dynagear Badger pistons - same flat top design, 9:1 compression. Autozone can order these. Good luck.

The Badger pistons are manufactured by Ohio Piston & Pin. The Ohio pistons are also sold under the brand names Nylen and Ertel.

I have a set of forged TRW pistons for sale. Part number L2414
They are balanced too the reconditioned rods, and have ARP rod bolts.
