Hard To Start
For the past couple of days my 01 F-250 has been hard to start and several issues are concerning me.
1. The fuel pump was replaced two weeks ago.
2. The air filter was nasty and has been replaced.
3. I changed the oil and not much came out which really bothered me.
4. Checked the glow plug relay and glow plugs and all are fine.
5. After changing the oil and starting the truck she is blowing smoke out the fill oil cap which tells me that the motor is losing compression.
6. After filling the tank with fresh fuel and putting some diesel kleen in it she is running fine at this time. My driver bought some fuel at a wal mart out of town which I think caused the problem.
My question is how long can the motor last with this blow by. The motor has 298000 miles on it and we run hot shot with the truck.
