Ok everyone i have the up pipes out and along with all my turbo stuff and i got a new pair of donut gaskets. I am wanting to know if their is any tricks on putting these suckers on and trying to have the least problems i know they have the belowed up pipes but at the moment my funds are really low. So as for the tips do install the bottom portions of the up-pipes to the manifold first or do i assemble the whole thing back together and just go for it? So any tips or advise is good thanks.
i dont know about the donuts but with all the work to get that apart you should put in a set of the international up-pipes and never have to do it again. http://guzzle.rbmicro.com/upp.html
Yeah that would of been great only problem is the money issue ... i know if i would have some extra money i would more then willing buy the set of up pipes from IH. That way i know i wouldnt have problems in the future. But as i was searching for tips someone in another topic posted that using a FEL-PRO exhaust pipe flange worked better then the OE ones from ford. So i bought both and to me the fel-pro's look way better plus they are only $1 buck. So we will se how that works out.

I tried those. A year later I put the bellows pipes on. The problem isn't the donuts, it's the fact that the up-pipes expand and contract with each heating cooling cycle, which causes the up-pipes to gall under the donut and leak.
Ford has updated Up pipe gaskets, they are white, i did those on my H2E setup, and put as much as you can locktite. so far no leaks with 40# of boost. and little advice , get new hardware for the flanges, all of them it will make reassembly 10x faster, belive me. it was PITA with old bolts with new ones i can have them replaced in 30 min both sides. you not going to remove your trans, it helps a lot to get the one top trans bolt out , on the driver side.....
hope this helps...

I put the Fel Pros on mine a few weeks ago, Use lots of PB Blaster on the hardware and work the hardware a little at a time, dont get in a hurry(it seems like it would be easy to break a bolt), use lots of anti seize on the donuts and the pipes, They squish down a bunch, the material they are made of is nice and soft/flexible, I think as long as they dont harden up they will last a very long time.

where do you suggest I get the hard wear? are they special bolts. and I assume its just the bolts and gasket that are really needed when replaceding the gasket.
yeah I know, but I can't afford the bellowed pipes.
Where do I get the fel pro donuts and what is the part number if any one has it. I am selling the truck so I would like to get them as reasonable as possible. I have the Turbo orings and the UP PIPE bolts have been soaking in blast all for two days.

These are part numbers I got off a couple of posts:
