Help with step rails

I have purchased a set of side step rails and I'm trying to install but the set I purchased from JC Wittney has very substandard instructions. I have never installed anything like this to even be able to compare. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I called JC Wittney and they don't have any better instructions.
Thanks

how about some more info? copy and paste a link to jcw to show us which ones your talking about? have you tried to line the brackets up on the frame rails? maybe your rig had them in the past and someone just took/ripped them off so maybe the mounting holes are there.... there were probably more expe that came with step boards than not, so you may be surprised that there are mounting points already there....... i know mine had them in it's past but weren't on when i bought it.....

pics of the steps would be good also...
