So about a month ago i replaced the rear bags in my 1998 Lic. Navigator 4x2. Today the compressor did not come on at all. So i went to a junk yard got one. The back end still will not rise up. I hear the "click" noise in the back. The compressor runs, but no lift. Nor do i get a check susp light. I let the car run for 20min and nothing. Check the compressor it is pumping out air.
i wouldn't drive it with the back down. unless you're only going a very short distance. like madson said check the airlines by following them from the bags up to the front. and some soapy water if you don't see any disconnects.
I feel silly. The mechanic did not put a O ring on the dryer.
But i still have a problem.
Back end rises. (YAY) But after about 4 hours it drops. I have replaced the Compressor, Dryer, And Air springs. I checked lines for leaks. Did not see any bubbles?
