i must have missed the chebby part. there was quite a few nice rat rods with flatheads there...

The 56 had a 403 Olds engine.
I was talking today with a member of the Draggins. He said that black 4x4 Harley Davidson truck cost the guy over $250,000.00 I did not see it. Sorry guys it looked just like any other black 4x4 with a lift kit and large tires. I did not linger much at that truck.
He also said the attendance was down. He said that was nice for seeing the displays. But not nice for their costs and money for Camp Easter Seals.
I liked it better being able to see the cars. No one standing in front.
I guess they had some excitement around 9 that night. Some guy came in and tried to rob one of the displays/sales persons. He susposedly showed a sawed off shotgun at the guy. The guy began yelling, the perp quickly got lost in the crowd and they never caught him.

lol...methinks thats a poor place to try and rob someone... there's a pile of guys who'd lay their life on the line for their rides!!
