Well the one you are looking at is after he modified it with new bolt holes...

Are you talking about this one?

It looks just like mine...

the bellhousing pictured above is for a ford y-block series v-8 that was used in trucks thats been modified to accept a 5.0 mustang t-5 5spd manual transmission. the car bells dont have the ears on the side.

OK, ask the wrong question, get the wrong answer!

What transmission hooks to that? It doesn't look like my 63 truck bell with a T-98 hanging from it. My bolt patten is shorter top to bottom.

from my understanding, the three speed and 4spd bellhousing is different. the one in the picture is for a 4spd i do believe. The 4spd that bolts up to the one in the picture is a t-98A. hope this helps.

THAT, Mr Walston, is the same as my 4 spd bell (with a lot less grime!). I would have to say the Mummert bell pictured is for the 3 speed. It has been modified, with the 2 bungs welded on, but the original bolt pattern is still intact.

Seems then, the top 2 bolt holes for the 4 spd and the bottom 2 holes for the 3 spd align to the t-5. Interesting.

Thanks for the pics.

That is interesting. It's like a hybrid bolt pattern!
