New IL Gun Control Law
ISRA URGENT ALERT – YOUR IMMEDIATE ATTENTION REQUIRED
Larry Suffredin and his cohorts on the Cook County Board are up to their old tricks again.
In order to justify passage of gun control ordinances designed to close all gun shops and ban and confiscate most guns owned by citizens of the county, the Cook County Board is conducting a telephone poll where callers can vote for or against the gun control ordinances.
Like everything else in Cook County, this poll is probably rigged. So, it’s very important that you do the following:
1. Call 1-312 -603-6400 and select Option #1 when prompted. At the next prompt, select Option #1 again. Then, when prompted to vote on the gun control ordinance, press #2.
2. You should also forward this alert on to all your gun owning friends and have them vote too.
3. You should also post this alert to any and all Internet bulletin boards or blogs to which you belong.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A RESIDENT OF COOK COUNTY TO VOTE!

When guns are outlawed only outlaws and cops will have guns!! Even if all guns in
the U.S. were confiscated from everyone, There would be guns in the hands of the
criminals. Since a smuggler doesn't care if he is transporting 10 kilos of cocaine or
10 kilos of handguns, If there is a market there will be a supply!! Everyone is so
enamored with the romantic view of the U.K. being supposedly gun free!! If you
really look into the matter there are many gun crimes happening and even kids are
killing other kids on playgrounds there with handguns!!
What the gun control lobby never wants to look into is that in a knife culture people
still go into public places and hack and chop many people to death or I think what is
worse is a machete hack to the face that you survive!! I think a gunshot would be
preferable to having someone hack away at you until you are dead, Maybe it's just me?
I try to convince my friends to get a firearm even if they just get a black powder
rifle or pistol and hang it on the wall, A cap on the chamber can scare a unarmed home
invader and force them to rethink what they are about to do.
The civilian marksmanship program really needs more citizens to get involved with it
and sure the big calibers are expensive but there are the 22 calibers available and for
most folks would do fine for home protection (22 short or rat shot) Since the sight of
a gun can make most of the small time criminals change their minds!! Of course some
guy hopped up on drugs and emboldened by past robberies and maybe even being
fired upon and not hit, A gun won't prevent them from coming in and a well placed

If you don't like the idea of a "firearm" maybe one of these would suit your taste and
would most definately fill the same role but without the stigma. Most folks even gun
owners and hunters don't know there are big bore AIR rifles out there and yes will take
